We are a ranch located in the Southern California High Desert. We raise Mini Nubians.

How we got our first goats:

We were getting into the idea of getting goats for milk and meat with my cousin. We bought 25 Boer/cross meat goats in June of 2004. After we got them, not much happened with them and my cousin and us decided to sell off the herd. But, in that herd there was a Nubian doe and an "Alpine" doeling. We kept them, finally selling off the "Alpine" doeling (she seemed like a mini Alpine!) and getting a registered Nubian doe, The Milky Way Stars. We then started buying different goats and then would get rid of them, deciding which breed we really wanted. We finally decided on Nubians. We got our first Nubian herdsire in early/middle 2005 along with his dam and another doe. Our first Purebred registered Nubian kids were born in 2006. I kept breeding the Nubians. Then in early 2006 we found out about Mini Nubians and got our first Mini Nubian buckling (PawPawNin Junior Mint) and a Mini Nubian doeling. We got several more, and finally our first Mini Nubian kids were born January 25th, 2007, and more and more are born! We have decided to sell off most of our Nubians, and we are staying with the Mini Nubians. We are still keeping a few of our Nubian does, but we sold our Nubian bucks, so we can just focus on the minis.
